Description
The Pequot Running Club is a group of fitness-conscious runners of all ages and abilities. There are some who run strictly for fun and recreation, and there are some who are pretty serious competitors. The common thread is the enjoyment of running with a group of mellow, easygoing, interesting and interested friends.
The Club, founded in 1978, meets for runs three days a week. Join us for as few or as many of these group run opportunities as you'd like.
We have an annual Clambake for our members at Westport's Compo Beach in August and a holiday dinner at a local restaurant in December. These events are the highlights of our social activities.
The Pequot Running Club is the proud organization behind the acclaimed Thanksgiving Day 5 Mile Road Race and 2.6 mile walk through Connecticut's Gold Coast. The race has become a holiday tradition throughout the region.
Membership Levels
Runner
An initial fee of $15 plus processing fee will be charged. A reduced renewal fee invoice will be sent 12 months from your date of joining.
