Founded in 1983, the Second Wind Running Club is Champaign-Urbana's premier running club. Membership is open to all ages and levels, from beginning runners to seasoned runners.

Club events:

The following fun runs feature a run coordinator. We are a rain and shine group. If it’s raining and no lightning we will still meet. If we do cancel we will send an email and post on our Facebook page.

Tuesday: We are currently running on our summer fun run route! We meet at Meadowbrook Park, 6:00pm, in the parking lot on Race Street. 

Wednesday: We are currently running on our summer speedwork routes. Meeting places are announced each week with our weekly emails and Facebook posts.

Thursday: Riggs Runs: A weekly fun run that starts & finishes at Riggs Beer Company. It begins at 6pm spring, summer & fall (and a few still run in the winter). The route is 4 miles but you can run less or more. There is usually a food truck & live music, so plan to stay after the run for a good time. 

Board Meetings:  Second Mondays of each month at 7 pm - Zoom option is available.
