The Springfield Bicycle Club (SBC) is a 501c(3) 380+ member club made up of riders from all over the Springfield, Illinois and the surrounding area. Membership is open to all types of cyclists and you do not need an expensive bike to join in group rides. We invite you to come out and try, no matter what kind of bike or what level you ride at! We offer leisurely to advanced paced rides, social functions, and a commitment to safe riding.

We welcome all cyclists, both members and non-members, to our annual non-competitive cycling event, the Capital City Century (CCC) held in September. Funds raised from the CCC are used to support local club activities, as well as state and regional bicycle advocacy organizations.

The SBC supports bicycle advocacy at both the local and the national level and is an affiliate member of the League of American Bicyclists, RideIllinois, and Rails-to-Trails.
