WELCOME to the Ocean Isle Beach (OIB) Cyclists Google Group. "OIB Cyclists" is not a club, i.e., there are no dues and there is no governing body. We are simply friends and acquaintances who enjoy road riding. The purpose of this Group is to promote road cycling in the South Brunswick Islands, North Carolina area by providing a site for sharing information about local group rides.
GROUP RIDES
GROUP RIDES: We typically ride as a group Wed. and Sat. mornings from the parking lot of Old Shallotte Baptist Church. Start times vary with the time of year but typically are 8:00 AM in the Summer and 9:00 or later in the Winter.
RIDE POSTING: Any member can post a ride for any day of the week. When doing so, please include start time, location, anticipated length of the route and speed range, e.g., 15-17 mph. so others can join in if so inclined.
