Description
The SOMA Fox Running Club (SFRC) was established in 2021 as a 501c3 non-profit organization in New Jersey, serving South Orange / Maplewood and the surrounding towns. We are a member organization of Road Runners Club of America.
Our mission is to promote and extend the joys of running to our community through group workouts, camaraderie, runner-to-runner support, and hosting local races and events. We welcome all levels of runners from absolute beginners to the highly experienced or super speedy. We welcome runners ages 18 and up, all genders, and all backgrounds. We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion through promoting a safe, welcoming, and respectful community. We strive to share the mental and physical benefits of running with everyone who joins, no matter your running goals.
And, we believe in giving back to our community. Because we firmly believe that all people should have access to healthy food to achieve their own goals, our charity partner is Meeting Essential Needs with Dignity (MEND). We pledge to donate a percentage of all funds raised to MEND.

Membership Levels
Individual Membership 2024
Membership in SOMA Fox Running Club comes with lots of benefits! Members have unlimited access to our three weekly group workouts, our fun runs, our members-only facebook page, and a weekly email to keep you posted, so if you don't use Facebook, you will not be left out! Members recieve an affiliate membership with RRCA, get discounts on all SFRC races, and will be invited to speaker events, carpools, and other group activities including our members-only annual club party. We are a club that celebrates diversity in all its forms and welcomes all runners 18 years of age and older.
Memberships run from January 1 through December 31. The membership fee is pro-rated for the remainder of the year based on the date you enroll. Please note that this membership is non-refundable.

Household Membership 2024
A Household Membership in SOMA Fox Running Club comes with lots of benefits! A Household Membership can include up to 6 adults (18 and older) living at the same address.
Members have unlimited access to our three weekly group workouts, our fun runs, our members-only facebook page, and a weekly email to keep you posted, so if you don't use Facebook, you will not be left out!
