The Summer/Fall membership covers our June–October training cycle (culminating with the Columbus Marathon) and remains active through November. This is the only option currently available.
Annual membership, which includes both Winter/Spring and Summer/Fall seasons, will be offered again when Winter/Spring registration reopens.

Membership Levels
2026 Summer-Fall Session Membership pays for training plans, coaching, supported group runs and activities from June 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026. This plan targets the Columbus Half and Full Marathon (October 18, 2026).

Who we are
Team FrontRunner is a Columbus-based running group focused on half and full marathon training in a supportive, non-intimidating environment.
We welcome runners and walkers of all abilities, from first-timers to experienced marathoners. Whether your goal is to finish your first race or set a PR, you’ll find a place here.
We meet Sunday mornings for long runs, following structured training plans aligned with local races. Our experienced pacers have collectively completed hundreds of marathons and will help guide runners at every level.
Founded in 2009, Team FrontRunner has grown into a vibrant, independent community and has been affiliated with the Road Runners Club of America since 2021.
Our mission is simple: help our members achieve their goals while enjoying the process and the people around them.
WHEN & WHERE WE MEET
We meet on Sunday mornings for long runs.
- Summer: 7:00 AM (shifting to 7:30 AM later in the season)
- Winter: 8:00 AM (shifting to 7:30 AM later in the season)
Run locations rotate throughout the Columbus area, giving members access to a variety of routes and keeping training fresh and engaging.

Training vs. Off-Season
Our structured training seasons (with pacers, hydration, and set distances) run twice per year and are aligned with local races.
- Spring season: January - April (race in late April)
- Summer/Fall season: June - October
Between Seasons
We meet for informal group runs:
- Same Sunday morning meetup
- No pacers or assigned pace groups
- No hydration stations
- Flexible distances
These runs are a great way to stay active and meet the group in a more relaxed setting. Details are shared on:
