Beginner Running and Run Walk Training Programs
The Beginner 5K Run Training Program is designed to help those who want to run a 5K for their first time, their first time in a while, are recovering from an injury, or looking to increase their pace.
The Beginner 5k Run Walk Training Program is designed to help those who want to run walk a 5k race for the first time, their first in a while, are receiving from injury, or looking to increase their overall pace.
Beginning Date: Saturday, September 13th
Last Training Day: Wednesday, November 5th
Optional Goal Race: Run Against Hunger, Saturday, November 8th
Please note that Barrier Breakers registration does NOT include registration for the goal race or any other race.
Discount Week: September 13th - September 21st
Registered participants will receive 15% off of all regular priced Scranton Running Company merchandise and 20% off all regular priced Brooks merchandise. (Discount cannot be used on previous purchases and dates are non-transferable. Reward points will accumulate but cannot be with the discount)

Monday @ 6:00 PM
Wednesday @ 6:00 PM
Saturday @ 8:00 AM
Location:
All groups will meet at the Scranton Running Company or Olive Street Pavilion, but other meeting locations may be announced throughout the session. Location changes will be announced at practice and via the email that you are registering with.
