The recommended size is based on your body measurements. Here's a size comparison between the 2020 Heather Blue LRG Sample vs the 2018 BLK Lrg size.  The blue is a smidge bigger (different manufacture), but it appears to track the body measurement chart, i.e. shirt isn’t intended to skin tight.
