Club Information

Our Goal: Members of the Fredericksburg Area Running Club believe that running enhances its participants' health and happiness. The club, in furtherance of this objective, will promote and encourage recreational running in the Fredericksburg community through education of the community on the benefits of physical fitness and sport.

The club sponsors group runs, fun runs, championships, road races, training, and social events. FARC publishes an email newsletter to disseminate running information. All members are encouraged to contribute stories and information.

Check out our webpage www.runfarc.com for race schedules and results and additional information of interest to club members. FARC also distributes awards, conducts fundraising events, and other things that may be conducive to encouraging running.

FARC is a registered non-profit organization and is a member of the Road Runners Club of America (www.rrca.org)

Join us every Saturday for a group run. The run starts on the corner of Princess Anne St and William St.
Runs start at 7am - from Labor Day to Memorial Day the start time shifts to 8am
