Summer Maintenance Training

We are hosting an 8 week summer maintenance training program (before we start another round of 5k training for the Citizens Run Against Cancer 5k) and invite anyone who wants to run during the summer to come join VARRA and run/walk with us!
This 8 week program begins Monday, July 8 at 6:30 PM at the Memorial Stadium Track and will end on Saturday, September 1. (The next 5k training cycle will begin on Monday, September 3). The program consists of 3 weekly workouts, all of which involve a combination of running and walking intervals.
We understand that it can be scary to begin running, and we want to make it as fun as possible by emphasizing that the runs are done at your pace! There is no pressure except to come out and have fun and move your body.

Weekly workouts:
Mondays: 6:30 PM at Memorial Stadium Track
Wednesdays: 6:30 PM at Riverside Stadium Parking Lot
Saturdays: 7:30 AM at Riverside Stadium Parking Lot
