Chick-fil-A 5K Training

We are hosting another 6 week 5k training program leading up to the Chick-fil-A 5k benefitting Young Life. As a proud supporter of the race, we have been able to help the organization benefit the youth of our wonderful community, and we invite anyone who wants to train for the 5k to come join VARRA and run/walk with us!
This 6 week program begins Monday, February 26 at 6:30 PM at the Memorial Stadium Track and will continue through race day on Saturday, April 6. The program consists of 3 weekly runs, all of which involve a combination of running and walking intervals.
We understand that it can be scary to begin running, and we want to make it as fun as possible by emphasizing that the runs are done at your pace! There is no pressure except to come out and have fun and move your body.

Weekly runs:
Mondays: 6:30 PM at Memorial Stadium Track
Wednesdays: 6:30 PM at Riverside Stadium Parking Lot
Saturdays: 8:00 AM at Riverside Stadium Parking Lot
