Description

Join us this September for the Triad Recovery Rally 2017, a recovery community event hosted by Caring Service, Inc. September is National Recovery Month and the Rally is the Triad’s event for this National day of recognition.  The Rally takes place at the High Point Athletic Complex, High Point, NC on Sunday September 24, 2017 from 2:00 until 5:00.

In keeping with SAMHSA’s 2017 National Recovery Month theme; the goal is to “Strengthen Families and Communities” in the Triad and foster connections to grow recovery support efforts.

Triad Recovery Rally 2017 will host a variety of speakers who are in personal recovery, family recovery, and those who identify as recovery allies. The event will host members of the local government, faith communities, treatment and recovery centers, local businesses, referral agencies, and individuals, families, and friends with a vested interest in the recovery community of the Triad.

The event will include activities that engage all ages, backgrounds, and connections to addiction recovery. Activities for children vary from a bounce house to face painting.  For our older youth, a variety of photo booths and social media campaigns will be available.  For adults, they will be able to dunk some of their favorite community figures in a dunking booth.  Food and drink will be available to all participants. Participants will be able to enjoy music, speakers, raffles, vendors, and a recovery relay that will raise money to reinvest in local recovery efforts within the triad.

Triad Recovery Rally 2017 will provide an opportunity for agencies, businesses and community members to learn more about what recovery supports are available to them.  By bringing the Winston-Salem, High Point and Greensboro recovery communities together, we hope that the opportunity to collaborate and enhance services will grow from a shared dedication to supporting recovering families.
