Dragon Run Canceled

Our deepest apologies for keeping you waiting this long to hear from us. Our initial thought was to just postpone the Dragon Run or perhaps go virtual for this year. There was and still is no way to predict the full impact of COVID 19, not just on the health of our community but also on the financial impact on many of our families. With this in mind, the Dragon Run committee made the decision to cancel the 2020 Dragon Run for this year.

Here Are Your Options:

You can choose to use your current registration for next year's race. If you choose this option we can send you a code that you can use for the 2021 Dragon Run race. When you register, simply enter the code in the Promo Code box and finish the checkout process. Should you lose your code, you can always email us and we can resend it to you.

You can also choose to change your registration fee into a donation to the Dallas Education Foundation (the beneficiary of the Dragon Run). If you choose this option, you will receive a thank you letter from the DEF with their tax id information as they are a registered 501c3 non-profit with the State of Oregon.

Because we are a small local race, we are able to offer full refunds minus a possible transaction fee from the registration company. Most races have to put down deposits to reserve venues, pay their city permitting fees, police department traffic enforcement, etc but the City of Dallas, Dallas Police Department, and Dallas School District are incredibly generous sponsors of the Dragon Run so we are not out large sums of money which means full refunds are possible.

Description

Fun Run & 5K

The Dragon Run is a community fun run whose proceeds go to support the Dallas Education Foundation. Our event is open to everyone. We offer varying distances to allow for participants of any age and ability. All routes will be on pave surface.  all events will start and end at LaCreole Middle School.  This is a computer timed event and results will be available online soon after the event.

Registration

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, APRIL 3RD AT 4:00PM.  BUT PAPER REGISTRATIONS ARE ACCEPTED UNTIL 9:30AM ON DAY OF RACE.

T-Shirts Information

 T-SHIRTS GUARANTEED FOR PAPER REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED BEFORE NOON MARCH 26TH OR ONLINE REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED BEFORE MIDNIGHT MARCH 29TH.

Parking is available in the main parking lot on the east side of the school, a small parking lot on the south, and along public streets. Follow the signs through the doors off the plaza that's on the east side of the school.

         Early Packet Pickup Friday April 3rd 4:30 to 5:30pm

         Day of Race Packet Pickup - Saturday April 4th 8:30 to 9:30am
