RunTough 2024

Please help the Sieck family support the fight for a cure for the deadliest pediatric brain cancer: DIPG, in honor of their daughter Lucy, who tragically lost her battle to DIPG on November 13, 2020 at only 6 years old!  

We are launching our first ever LucyLove Rainbow Run for ChadTough Defeat DIPG, and we need your help to meet our fundraising goal.  All donations will be used to fund essential research for treatments and a cure for childhood brain tumors through ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. 

What is a Rainbow Run, you ask?  It is NOT a 5K, nor is it an "official" run.  This is a fun, colorful, creative, funny, funky, wack-a-doodle lap (or two, or more) around the track.  You can go forwards, backwards, while twirling in circles, hula-hooping or in an inflatable costume...as long as it makes you have fun!  No running experience needed.

Join the fight in person on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Vienna Elementary School in Pfafftown, NC, or grab some friends and Rainbow Run virtually!  If you are running virtually, please be sure to send us pictures at LucyLove.org@gmail.com or post them on social with #LucyLoveRainbowRun.

3. Enter your registrant details and select the VIRTUAL without Shirt option. 

• • Please select this option even if you are joining us in person!! 

  • You can join us in person on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Vienna Elementary School in Pfafftown, NC, or in spirit by enjoying your own Rainbow Run at any time and place that works for you.  Use the swag links to sport your own LucyLove gear to make this as colorful as possible!

  • Price: $25.00 Race Fee + $2.50 SignUp Fee

  • In-Person Start Time: 9:00am

  • Registration: Registration ends September 29, 2024 at 11:59pm EDT
