Northwest Indiana Triathletes

Our non-profit club was listed under section 501 (c)(4) of the IRS when we started in 2011. In 2023, we dissolved the original organization and were able reform NWI Triathletes Inc. as a true non-profit under section 501 (c)(3)! Your donation is now TAX DEDUCTIBLE!!!  We have held close to 110 members annually, located mainly in Lake and Porter Counties. NWI Triathletes supports local races each year.  

In 2024 this included Leon’s World’s Fastest Triathlon, Grand Rapids Triathlon, Lake Max Culvers Sprint Triathlon, and MiTi half/full Triathlon.  Our tent and banners are utilized to advertise our sponsors in addition to giving support to our athletes.  Sponsors are also advertised on our website and on our social media outlets. The support of our sponsors plays a significant role in making NWI Triathletes what we are today.  

In the next year, we will be actively growing our organization by providing coaching and educational resources, group training events and social events to our members and the triathlon community.
