This Father's Day event is the perfect opportunity to get the whole family outside! Celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Old Erie Canal with a fun, family friendly, canoe & kayak race. Cookout with us and explore the Sims Erie Canal Museum at the finish line!
Rec Race - Pulling the old alumacraft out of the barn? This is the class for you! Race two miles from Reed Webster Park to Erie Canal Park at Devoe Rd. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers will be available at the end. Special prizes for the fastest parent/child team!
Pro Race - NYPRA rules apply. Start at Reed Webster Park - portage Devoe Rd - buoy turn just before Newport Rd - finish at Devoe Rd. Six miles total.

Finish: Erie Canal Park on Devoe Rd
Teams are welcome to paddle back to their vehicles after the race, or have their "pit crews" drive to meet them at the end.
