Salisbury Rowan Runners

We’re more than just a group of exercise enthusiasts and race organizers – we’re community supporters! One of our core values is giving back to the community in meaningful ways.  In 2024, we gave $34,198 to local organizations!   For the complete list of contributions, click here!

We fulfill our mission to educate the general public about the benefits of running and walking by sponsoring and conducting races and other organized events such as running classes, publishing a regular newsletter for members that includes a calendar of events and informative articles, and maintaining a web site that includes general SRR information, running and walking events and results of local races. Salisbury Rowan Runners also supports projects in the community that promote running and other fitness-related activities. In addition, from April 2020 – present, SRR members have volunteered a combined 1,000+ hours serving lunches and leading walking classes at Rowan Helping Ministries.

Salisbury Rowan Runners is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  No goods or services were provided in exchange for your financial donation.
