Please donate to the Shenandoah Valley Runners (SVR) and Runners’ Retreat Gear Grant program which assists student athlete runners by fitting and furnishing them with a new pair of shoes. All donations are tax deductible.

For 2025 SVR and Runners' Retreat are granting 50 pairs of shoes to runners from 17 high schools and 8 Girls on the Run teams.

50 pairs of shoes is a strong start but we know that the need is much greater! Please donate and help us fund the 2026 grants. Can we get to 100 pairs?

SVR is a nonprofit club promoting running and amateur competition in the Northern Shenandoah Valley since 1977 and a member of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). Runners’ Retreat is a small business and specialty running store in Winchester VA.
