We are disappointed that we had to cancel this year’s Parkside Stride. This event is special to our school community. It’s great way for us to promote health and wellness and raise needed funds for the school. I’m sure you are wondering since the race is cancelled what happens next? Your race fees will be converted to donations to the school. We will provide tax donation letters. UPDATE: T-shirt pickup will be Friday, May 15th from 2-5pm & Saturday, May 16th from 11am - 2pm at Parkside. We will be in front of the school.
To keep the spirit of the Stride going since we all can’t race together on race day, we will do modified version of a Virtual race. Traditional Virtual races allow you to run or walk a race on your own time at your own pace. You receive your bibb, t-shirt, and race swag. If the virtual race isn’t your thing, don’t worry you’ll still be able get your t-shirt and race bag. That’s why we’re doing a modified virtual race. Run or walk the 5K or 1 Mile, wearing a past years Stride shirt if you have one. After you finish, take a picture. Tag us on FB at Parkside PTA & Friends and Instagram @parksideatlanta #virtualparksidestride. Include your distance and time in your post. We have a sign you can print out to hold up in the pic. The sign is available to download under the Events section +Show Registration details, then download registration form. It's also on our FB events page.

**Must be registered by March 6th to guarantee your T-shirt size, all other registrants will receive a shirt while supplies last. You must show up on the day of the race to receive your T-shirt.
***This is a rain or shine event and there are no refunds in case the race needs to be canceled due to inclement weather.
