embRACE Virtual 5K Run/Walk

Be a Buddy, Not a Bully 

October is National Bullying Prevention Month.  The NATCA Charitable Foundation (NCF) is hosting the embRACE Virtual 5K Run/Walk- Be a Buddy not a Bully to raise money for KidPower and NCF.  NCF also hopes to encourage Bullying Prevention by encouraging people to Embrace You and You Embrace Others through compassion, kindness, understanding, acceptance, friendship and respect. 

Sign up and raise money for KidPower and NCF between October 1, 2021 and November 6, 2021.  Run or Walk the embRACE Virtual 5K between October 31, 2021 and November 6, 2021.  Log your times onto this site to check out your friendly competition.  Since this is a fun run/walk, we will not be awarding prizes for top times but will be giving out prizes for the top 3 fundraisers.  Finisher medals will be awarded to all participants.  Top times will be solely for bragging rights! 

Sign up Fee: $35 per person

You can raise money as an individual and/or as a team.  Compete as a team to raise the most money for two amazing charities!  Top 3 individual fundraisers will receive a prize.   

About KidPower:

Most bullying, including adult-to-adult bullying, can be stopped or prevented when everyone involved learns and uses core social-emotional safety skills. KidPower teaches:

• Social-emotional safety skills to be safe from bullying and cyberbullying at all ages
• Safety leadership strategies for adults to ensure that everyone in their homes, schools, and workplaces is safe from bullying and harassment
• Positive intervention and coaching skills to guide those using bullying behaviors to replace them with pro-social behaviors.
• We provide tailored support for dealing with specific types of bullying such as social aggression, cyberbullying, adult-to-adult bullying, and prejudice-based bullying and harm.

NCF is NATCA’s Charity of Choice.  We are a charity of charities, giving back to multiple causes across the nation.  We strive to be at the doorstep of every cause and every NATCA member's need.

 NCF seeks out organizations that serve a similar purpose and focus on helping the under-served. While we give to large, well known charities, we like to focus and seek out charities that are underfunded and are often missed through typical charity drives, allowing us to make a big impact on these smaller underfunded charities.
