MUST-Movement to Uplift and Support Teens (formerly known as Mothers United to Save our Teens) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that started as a support group in 2004 at Bolingbrook High School by a mother who was feeling overwhelmed and defeated to connect and communicate with her teenage daughter. Her struggle inspired her to seek a way to receive and provide assistance to other parents and teens struggling through one of the most challenging times in life. Since its inception, MUST has expanded and provided support to over 3000 participants. Among other things, we help bridge the communication and connection gap between parents and their youth. We believe this is the first step in strengthening the family and thus will eventually lead to the rebuilding of our communities.
MUST provides annual Parent & Child Connection events, Summer Youth Mentoring program, teen and family outings including volunteer opportunities, monthly parent/teen webinars, mentoring and coaching, open-forum discussions, other resources, and MUST is active in community involvement and initiatives.
