I’m raising money for my school’s Tackle Autism Together Nov. 6th Football Game. Our school is going to make a donation to the Autism Society SE WI (ASSEW). They ensure that people living with autism in our community have access to autism inclusive programs, and doctors, teachers and first responders receive Autism Friendly training to make our community more inclusive. Thank you for helping me make a more Autism Friendly Community and the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers an even better school! One in 54 children, their families, and countless thousands of adults live with autism. Locally, ASSEW estimates some 37,570 people are living with autism in the Southeastern Wisconsin area today. Resources and inclusive programs can be difficult to come by, but in our area, ASSEW is our primary advocate for ensuring that autism is included as part our community’s definition of diversity and inclusion.
