This year, we walk and run in memory of our beautiful friend, Rachel.

Rachel was an incredible friend, a devoted mother and someone who brought so much love into the lives of the people around her.  The LRH Promise Run holds an even deeper meaning for us now. Hollis Cancer Center is where Rachel received her treatment. She genuinely loved and appreciated the nurses and doctors who cared for her throughout her journey. They became an important part of her life during a difficult time. Supporting the place and people who cared for her is one more way we can honor her.

We participated in the Promise Run together in the past and although Rachel is no longer here to cross the finish line beside us, we know without a doubt that she would want us to continue. So that is exactly what we will do. We will keep walking. We will keep running. We will keep supporting Hollis Cancer Center and the people who dedicate their lives to caring for those facing cancer. Most importantly, we will carry Rachel with us every step of the way.

Rachel’s Promise is our promise to continue something that meant so much to her, to honor the beautiful life she lived and to carry forward the love she gave so freely.
