Cancer affects us all. There are currently multiple Bannasch team members who have loved ones battling cancer. In some ways, this battle resembles the journey of the rehab patient — a journey, a battle, rooted in hope.

Believing in hope gives us the courage to take the next step, the strength to rise after setbacks, and the openness to see light where darkness once felt absolute.

Hope grows in small, steady ways: in a reassuring word, in a moment of comfort, in the simple act of trying again. It renews itself, even when we feel worn down. And when believing in hope feels hard, others can hold that belief for us until we’re ready to carry it again.

Every encouraging word, every moment of patience, every effort to listen or step in — these are the ways we help hope take root.
