Special Olympics Bermuda, Registered Charity # 972, was formed with a mission to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition opportunities in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through this, our athletes have continuous opportunities to develop their physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.

Special Olympics Bermuda athletes had the incredible opportunity to travel to Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Berlin, Germany, in 2019 and 2023 to compete in the Special Olympics World Summer Games. Bermuda achieved remarkable success, including several medals, with Gold medals among them. Athletes also get the chance to compete in various regional and sport-specific competitions worldwide. Your donations not only support participation in international competitions but also play a crucial role in funding training, taking part in local sports and community events, community engagement, leadership programs, and so much more!
