Every year, Wu Kitty, Finnegan, and I proudly support the Race for Catherine 5K for Kindness, benefiting the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary. This year, for the sixth annual race, we are raising funds in Midnight’s memory with our biggest goal yet: $2,000. 🖤💜

The sanctuary was created to honor six-year-old Catherine Violet Hubbard, who was killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. A passionate animal lover, Catherine’s kindness and compassion continue to inspire meaningful work for animals and the community.

That spirit reminds us so much of Midnight. She brought joy, connection, compassion, and love to everyone she met, and she showed us how much good can come from simply showing up with kindness.
