The Roaring 20's are nearing a close when in 1927 a farmhouse turned speakeasy opens on a quiet road surrounded by open fields. Purchased by the Meiers family in 1932 and fully licenced at Prohibitions end in 1933, Meier's Tavern served 10 cent beer, 15 cent burgers and pony rides for the kids.

Never leaving its original location, Meier's today remains the welcoming destination of choice for generations of family and friends.
