Bill Penner is an architecture practice founded by William Penner Architect, AIA.
I have been in continuous private practice for 19 years, I am a Registered Architect in New York State with a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University.
Prior to founding my architecture practice, I worked in New York as a project manager for a general contractor focusing on residential construction. I have also worked for an owner’s representative where I managed construction projects for cultural organizations as the owner’s agent. These two experiences have anchored my design process with an understanding of both the details and the costs of construction.
The relationship between the client and architect is critical to my process both for my own growth and, hopefully, as a positive transformation for my clients as well. I believe in problem solving; providing clients inventive, beautiful solutions implemented with an economy of means.
