I'm excited to be taking part in LoveMoves.Us first ever IN-PERSON 5K to raise money so that every child has a family and every family will flourish!
LoveMoves.Us provides community, encouragement and support to vulnerable children and families who foster or adopt. By providing opportunities for people in the community to serve and support, everyone can be a part of helping children remain in permanent, loving families and make a difference in their lives.
I've set a goal of raising $500 for participating in this 5K and I'm hoping you will sponsor me!
You could sponsor me per mile (it's 3.1 miles), by how fast I complete it, or with a flat donation!
Every dollar helps!
All funds will support one of 4 programs:
- Family Gatherings
- In-person groups with volunteer-led children's programming, catered hot meals, and trauma-informed parenting training
- Families Serving Families
- Connecting people in the community to surround families in the Chicagoland area with direct service and support
- Tangible Needs
- Meeting immediate tangible needs quickly & efficiently
- Online Training & Virtual Parent Discussions
- Practical Parenting Strategies on YouTube and online panel discussions
