The Smile-A-Mile (SAM) 5K helps raise funds to support our mission. The SAM 5K will start and finish at SAM Place in downtown Birmingham with post-race activities and awards. For those who are unable or do not wish to attend in-person, we have a virtual option so you can run, walk wherever you prefer or sleep-in while still supporting Smile-A-Mile!

Kick Off to Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we're kicking it off a little early with our 5K!

Smile-A-Mile is committed to serving families in Alabama who are on the childhood cancer journey by being with them through diagnosis, during treatment and in the years beyond. We provide year-round programs for patients and their families with the motto “We Fight With You” to ensure these families will never fight this disease alone.
