Shalaundra "Shailaun" Manning is an international singer-songwriter, actress and model from Arlington, Texas. For as long as she can remember, she has been an artist and has always been connected to all things music. Her distinct and unique style derives from many musical influences and genres from her roots in Soul and R&B, to Electronic, to her now Sophisti-Pop platform. Her soul stirring music speaks across cultures and generations with smooth, sultry sounds in alto reminiscent of Sade fused with the lyrical stylings of Anita Baker, Erykah Badu and India Arie. Shailaun creates tunes with an internal desire to heal and encourage herself and the world around her.
Shailaun is a May 2019 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelors degree in public relations, she is represented by the Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas, and is an independent artist. Shailaun released her debut album, Spread Love exclusively on May 10, 2021 and released her new single, "Now" on her birthday July 28, 2021.
