P&A Race for Our Retrievers

Join us in our Race for Retrievers for Paws and Affection! We are running to raise money for this fabulous cause because this organization is near and dear to our heart.

To give you a little background on who Paws and Affection is, they place service, facility, and companion dogs with young people in the greater Philadelphia area. Their dogs are trained to do tasks such as offering stability, picking up dropped items, turning on lights, opening doors, finding help, interrupting panic attacks, or simply being a calming presence at a time of high anxiety. I’ve seen how the dogs form incredible bonds with their child (or the population they work with) and impact lives in tremendous ways. This relationship is not just a working one, it also leads to increased confidence and independence in both the children and the dogs.
