In December 2022, my world changed when I was diagnosed with the rare and aggressive form of breast cancer, Tripple Negative. Only 10% of all breast cancer diagnosis is TNBC.
I had never heard of TNBC And most patients WITH breast cancer have also never heard of this rare form.
Having a TNBC diagnosis as well as other forms of auto immune diseases exclude me from many treatments on the market, such as immunotherapies.
There is still so much we need to learn when treating TNBC. So I will be participating in a virtual 5K at the end of October to support the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, an organization I care deeply about.
