The Tunnel to Towers mission is personal to me.

On September 11, 2001, I was attending school near the World Trade Center. My mother and my husband were both working in Manhattan. My husband was stuck in a tunnel as the attacks unfolded.

For my family, September 11 was never a distant event. It was happening around the people I loved while none of us knew what would come next.

I am running to honor the first responders who ran toward danger, those we lost, and the families who continue living with the impact. Tunnel to Towers supports fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military service members, and their families.
