This year, our team is participating in Miles for Moffitt and moving for what matters - love, hope, and finding the cures to cancer.
We are asking for your support as we fundraise for cancer research at Moffitt Cancer Center.
We have been personally impacted by the generosity of donors and the innovation via Research at Moffitt which results in new clinical trials and new treatments that help improve the lives of those touched by cancer.
Father, Son, Uncle & Friend - Mark Morris - is a prime example of a clinical trial participant and the impact that is made on the patient and family. His tumors were shrunk over 50% in the clinical trial of CAR T Cell Therapy. The quality of life was heightened for Mark through this treatment versus standard cancer treatment of chemo and radiation. Mark did the most honorable thing he could have done for future Lung Cancer fighters by laying down his life to this clinical trial to help science help those in the future. He was even reported on at the World Conference of Lung Cancer by his doctor in Singapore in 2023.
The joy that he would find, and that his family finds, knowing his legacy and caring nature to help others lives on through this clinical trial is unmatched.
