Jim and I are participating in Miles for Moffitt for the very first time alongside our dear friends, Debbi and Scott.

It is truly an honor to walk beside them, and we are fiercely passionate about doing everything we can to help raise funds to support the life-saving research, treatment, and patient care provided by Moffitt Cancer Center.

For me, this cause is especially personal.

My dear friend, Debbi, has been courageously battling Stage IV metastatic melanoma for 6 years. Watching someone you love face a fight like this changes you. It reminds you how precious time is, how important hope is, and how desperately we need continued advances in cancer treatment and research.

Every day, Debbi inspires me with her strength, determination, and unwavering spirit. While I cannot fight this battle for her, I can walk. I can raise awareness. And I can ask for help.
