Yorba Linda contracts with the Orange County Sheriff's Department for law enforcement services. The Sheriff's Department is responsible for providing for the protection of citizens, the enforcement of laws, and crime prevention. Police services include patrol, general and special crime investigation, traffic enforcement, collision investigation, parking enforcement, and a crime prevention unit.
