For the month of December, Henry Butters and I will be walking to support and raise awareness for Namaste Angels Foundation. Namaste Angels Foundation provides financial assistance to those facing serious illness and life limiting conditions to add comfort and dignity at the end of life. The Foundation covers the cost of resources and services not covered by Medicare/Medicaid and supports all three services lines of Home Health, Palliative and Hospice care.
Hospice is a service near and dear to our hearts. Henry and I have had 3 family members utilize hospice services all across the country, from Michigan to Virginia. The services offered were life changing not only for our loved ones, but for us as well. This year, Henry has taken his passion for hospice to the next step through his service dog training. Henry and I are excited to be the dynamic duo of offering Medical Social Work and Pet Therapy to patients and families all over Denver and Grand County. As we visit patients, we consistently see needs that could increase the quality of life for our patients and their families. Sometimes the needs are small, like a new set of clothes, other times the needs are larger like needing financial assistance for burial costs. Help us continue to offer these services and resources to our patients through a donation today!
We hope to walk a collective 1,998 miles in December in honor of the foundation year of Namaste Health. As a participant, Henry is dedicated to raising $1,000 by December 31st to support the life changing services of the Namaste Angels Foundation. Help us reach that goal!
