Emergency Food Network (EFN) is Pierce County’s central nonprofit food distributor with a mission to provide Pierce County with a consistent, diverse, and nutritious food supply so that no person goes hungry. EFN partners with more than 75 food pantries, meal sites, and shelters across the county, providing them with more than a million pounds of food each month, at no cost to them. At Sound to Narrows, EFN will engage community members to raise awareness about hunger in Pierce County, EFN’s work addressing it, and how community members can be a part of feeding our neighbors in need.
