FOD (Friends On Duty) it is a program that allows volunteers to help with safety and security along side the GISD PD (Gatesville Independent School District) PD. Each campus has one FOD on duty at each campus during the day, checking doors, making sure they are locked, identifying people that may come upon the campuses, be a mentor when needed for the students, identify issues concerning safety and security to the resource officers.
