This year's Finish Wine event supports two worthy causes, St. Jude House & the Pick 7 Food Pantry hosted by St. Matthias Church.
St. Jude House - Once again, we will be purchasing Walgreens Gift Cards for Moms In Need. St. Jude House is a domestic violence shelter and is located right across the street from Walgreens. Many of the Moms are not able to bring their personal items with them when they leave for the shelter. Having a gift card allows them to buy the items they need for themselves or their kids.
Pick 7 Food Pantry is hosted by St. Matthias each month and serves over 300 local families in need. The pantry is joyful, free of judgment, and always about giving without question. Guest enjoy hospitality and visiting with volunteers while enjoying coffee, juice, milk & donuts. Along with food items, the pantry provides over 300 packages of toilet paper, in addition to laundry detergent and feminine products to ensure that each attendee has access to personal care products.
