Mason's Story

As most of your know our son Mason was diagnosed at the age of 2 with Autism.  He was completely non-verbal, did not interact with his siblings and would often have meltdowns with being over stimulated and changes in routine.  With the help of therapists, doctors and love and support from all of his family he has made amazing progress in the last 4 years.  He is now partially verbal, plays with his brothers (he loves tag) and his classmates (he initiated a hug with one the other day), and now has fewer meltdowns and can cope better with changes to his routine.  We are amazed at his progress and know i is part to research and programs dedicated to helping kids and adults like Mason.  Please donate to help continue this important work and help kids and adults like Mason throughout CNY.

Thank you for your support of my team fundraising efforts! CNY ASA is committed to assisting families affected by autism, reaching out to the community to promote awareness and acceptance, disseminate information and provide educational and recreational programming. All monies raised will assist us in our efforts to expand our recreational and educational programming here in the Central New York area. I so appreciate your support and it will definitely serve to positively impact our local autism community.
