I'll be participating in the the Paws & Feet 5k on June 4th, 2022 at Voorhees Town Center. Help me raise funds for the care of the shelter animals of Animal Welfare Association in Voorhees, NJ.
New Year, New Building, Same Mission: AWA's goal for this year is to raise $60,000 during Paws & Feet in support of animals who need our help. Nearly $1,000 a day is spent on medical care and supplies for the animals at AWA.
I have been a volunteer since 2013. This is the very best shelter. The staff and volunteers are hard working, dedicated and caring people. During this period I volunteered many times at the off site events. At these events people who had adopted their pets from us would come over to our table and praise AWA for the wonderful experience and the great pets they had adopted. They would show pictures of their pets and comment that this is the only shelter they would deal with in adopting. I never heard a derogatory comment about AWA from anyone, only praise.
