The Longest Day is a signature fundraising and awareness campaign of the Alzheimer's Association that funds local Alzheimer's care, support, and research efforts. Inspired by the day with the most light - the Summer Solstice, and the longest day of the year, we are fighting to outshine the darkness of Alzheimer's year-round through an activity of choice. Participants choose their day, time, and any activity they love in honor of those they love who have been impacted by Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. Then, with the assistance of local staff and volunteers, we shape this activity into an impactful fundraiser.
