Hi Everyone,
I am walking for the well for several reasons, first and foremost, the challenges and suffering of the people of this village. As you know, Nigeria is not safe for Christians. Many women and girls of the village must travel great distances in order to get water for survival. They risk rape, kidnapping, or perhaps death.Having several wells within the village would help to alleviate such dangers while also helping to ease the burden of retrieving the water necessary for their survival.Sister Josephine, who is from this Nigerian village , is a personal friend of mine. Her family and friends live there.The people of St. Mary’s Parish wish to help Sister Josephine in this most worthy endeavor.
