Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes and their families.
Our team is participating in memory of my brother, Assistant Chief Nick Morosco (YFD Car 2). He passed away from a cardiac event shortly after leaving weekly training at the fire station on Tuesday August 27th, 2024. This foundation has always been important to our family. Nick gave his entire life to the fire service, officially serving 22 years of selfless and unwavering dedication to his community. One of Nick's biggest accomplishments was designing Tower Ladder 13 with Salt City Fire Equipment and Seagrave. TL13 arrived in Spring of 2024. Bringing Tower Ladder 13 to hang the American Flag at the start line of the T2T race in 2024 was one of the last things that I did with my brother before he passed away. That was my last ride in Tower Ladder 13 with him before it carried his casket after his line of duty death. The 2024 T2T race was also the last time my mom saw him. Please join us in remembering Nick and all of the other fallen heroes as we raise money for this important cause!
