Hey everyone, my name is Jonathon Kline. I served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps from 2005-2015, then worked in law enforcement from 2015-2023. September 11, 2001 I was in freshmen English as I watched the terrors of 9/11 happen. It was in the moment I decided I was going to serve my country. Since that day, serving and given back to my community has been huge for me. I learned about Tunnels to Towers will attending the SPC Police Academy in 2021 after moving to Florida. I love the opportunity to be able to run and support a charity that does so much for fallen service members and first responders. I promise to anyone who donates that I will give the run everything I have and leave nothing on the table. I run to honor Cpl. Tanner, Cpl. Poole, Cpl. Scripsick, Sgt. Yarbrough, and SSgt Stock all who paid the ultimate sacrifice while we were deployed to Iraq in 2007, as well as all those who pay the ultimate sacrifice to protect us.
Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes and their families.
