On September 11, 2001, I stood among the chaos and heartbreak at the Pentagon as a first responder. That day is forever etched into my memory—not only for the lives we lost, but also for the courage, unity, and sacrifice I witnessed.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was born out of that same spirit of service and sacrifice. It honors firefighter Stephen Siller, who ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers, giving his life so others could live. Today, the foundation continues that mission—providing mortgage-free homes for Gold Star families and catastrophically injured veterans, supporting first responders, and reminding the world that we will never forget.
