DONNA Marathon Weekend

As many of you know, I began my breast cancer journey with Diagnosis in July 2023 and double mastectomy in September 2023 followed two weeks later with reconstruction. Thanks to early detection and knowledge of the BRCA gene, I was able to avoid chemotherapy and radiation, however, not everyone is so lucky. Breast cancer affects everyone in different ways from the patients to the family members and caretakers. I made a promise to myself that once I recovered and eventually returned to running, I would do everything I could to give back. This will be the first race (with hopefully more to come) that I plan to do this with. If you’re able, I would greatly appreciate any and all donations towards a great cause!
