This August, I’ll be riding the Leadville Trail 100 MTB race once again — but this year, it means something deeper.
I’ve raced Leadville before. I know how difficult it is — 100 miles at altitude, long hours of training, and pushing through physical and mental limits. But this time, the race is not just about finishing.
Over the past year, I’ve been going through a period of personal transformation — rebuilding discipline, confronting my past, and learning how to move forward with more clarity and purpose. This race has become a way for me to channel that growth into something meaningful.
I’m riding as part of the Chris Klug Foundation team to support organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Right now, over 100,000 people in the U.S. are waiting for a lifesaving transplant. Every day, lives are lost simply because help didn’t come in time. One donor has the ability to save up to 8 lives.
That’s why this matters.
I’ve committed to raising $5,000 to support the foundation’s mission — to educate, inspire, and ultimately save lives.
If you feel moved to support, I would be truly grateful. Every donation, no matter the size, contributes directly to this cause.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
