Nearly two years ago, our lives changed in an instant when our twins arrived early at 32 weeks. What should have been a joyful time quickly became a journey filled with uncertainty, fear, and countless prayers as they were admitted to the NICU.
For one month, the NICU became our second home. We spent our days traveling back and forth to the hospital, learning medical terms we never expected to know, celebrating every ounce gained, and holding onto hope through every setback. The nurses, doctors, and Project NICU not only cared for our babies—they cared for us as parents navigating one of the most difficult experiences of our lives.
The NICU journey taught us strength, resilience, and gratitude. Today, those tiny babies who once fit in our hands are thriving, growing, and are almost two years old. Watching them run, laugh, and reach milestones we once only dreamed about is a gift we never take for granted.
I am supporting Project NICU because no family should have to walk this journey alone. Organizations like Project NICU provide resources, support, and hope to families facing the challenges of a NICU stay. Every donation helps make a difference for parents and babies during some of their most vulnerable moments.
